cash and everly were so sweet to read. thank god for the lack of third act break up or miscommunication. this felt like a breath of fresh air and was great for what it is.

The lovely and amazing @authoranneinerson is sucking me into the world of Aspen Grove and I’m not mad about it.
I didn’t think anything could top the single dad x nanny, BUT then she came in with a Marriage of Convenience book

Another heartwarming and deliciously sweet visit to Aspen Grove! This series is really just like a big warm hug. Heartfelt, playful, and oh so charming, If You Give a Billionaire a Bride left my heart full and a big smile on my face. It's so tenderly adorable!
Cash and Everly are just the cutest together. Childhood friends that couldn't be more (thanks to Cash being best friend's with Everly's brother), these two made a "when we're 30" marriage pact. A pact the becomes a reality after a chance meeting in Vegas and a little of that "what happens in Vegas" magic results in sudden wedding. Only twist? They can't get an annulment, because that would ruin an intra-family business deal. Turns out Cash has been long time pining for Everly, so now's his chance to make this marriage real. EEP- so much fun.
Cash and Everly have the cutest chemistry. Ann imbues it with plenty of substance, but they are also so fun and flirty...there is an endearing playfulness between them I really adored. And they have such great banter. But most of all I loved how they were great partners- friends who protected each other, who respected and considered the other. It's really beautiful to watch them fall...and there are also some wonderfully swoony, butterfly inducing, squishy feeling moments that just made me giddy. It was a slower burn but the spice was spicing (even if the spice itself didn’t quite fit my vibe of this couple- but it was def hot!)
Cash- oh my. He just stole my whole heart. His insecurities and his baggage, he's got buried vulnerability that makes him so layered as our hero. And I loved how Everly reached into him and saw his whole heart. Even with her own baggage to contend with- she's definitely got her own walls. Ann delves deeply into the most magic (and sexy) relationship dynamic of all- compassion that builds and solidifies trust. And Cash's "my wife" moments are just delectable. They both find unexpected emotional safety in each other, which means they both are able to be their best and happiest together. It's just so sweet.
Fans of this series will love the Stafford family dynamic and all of the fun they bring, and I also adored Everly's brothers. The second half did feel a bit repetitive in places and running a bit long, but it ended super cute. I'm looking forward to Harrison up next! This series is shaping up to be such a wonderful comfort read/happy escape, and I can't wait to be back in Aspen Grove!
