so so many plot twists i never felt so betrayed because of book character and there was so much plot twists like at the end thee was a new BIG thing every page or every two page
i cried and screamed a lot while reading this
the writing of red’s character is also so good because you know someone have secret and red is so paranoid she will make you think everyone can betray you because she see a lot of things, feelings, and looks and she always take it as if it is bad. Even if sometimes she was right sometimes was also just to mess with our head.
this book was definitely not what i thought: just don’t expect to read a little thriller about a friend group because it’s so much more than that
⚠️⚠️SPOILERS⬇️⬇️
and also the fact that you know from the beginning something is wrong with Red because of how she talks about a « plan » and you have to wait more than 250 pages to know half about it and even when 70 pages later you think you know everything but there is more? and more and more…

That being said, I was not a fan of Red as a character and didn’t feel connected to her at all. All of her forgetful, scatterbrained-ness didn’t seem to be helpful to building her as a character and seemed only to be used as plot mechanism more than anything else.

it was intense and rather stressful at times, and i loved the feeling of 'time running out' in the story.
personally, i liked red (the mc) because she was quite a fleshed out and layered character. the others... were not so much. there was one character in particular who absolutely made me go bonkers because they were so annoying
anyway, the twists were good, and i thoroughly enjoyed myself.
if you're looking for a fast paced mystery thriller that takes place in one night in a rather confined area, i would recommend this book!
