3 stars. I wasn't nearly as enthralled with this one as I was with A Study in Scarlet but this wasn't bad at all. The book opens with Sherlock just casually doing cocaine on the first page and I was blown away. LOL. My, how times have changed. It's also the introduction of the future Mrs. Mary Watson so that was awesome because I wasn't expecting her character to be in the series this early on. I'm excited for Irene Adler to arrive because she's my favorite but yeah, this was fine.
