If it was possible to give 10 stars I would...maybe that is not enough either.

Once again, I found myself completely sucked into a world created by Colleen Hoover. She is an amazing storyteller and she makes you feel. Simply, one of the best books I have read this year. Absolutely fantastic, while I couldn't put this down it was emotionally difficult to read and I definitely cried for what Sky had sufferred. Bravo.

Oh man this book was such a great well written love story but also had a little settle twist to it. I couldn’t stop listening! The way the two meet and how everything ends up unraveling makes everything about this young love that much better! I can’t wait for the rest of the books in this series to see what they are about cuz I didn’t feel like the first left too many unanswered questions but knowing Colleen and the way she writes it’ll be something that I didn’t know I needed or was missing!

You can definitely tell it was one of Colleens earlier books. But the twist is insane and I loved how detailed and how it was definitely not very PG. I wish she wrote more books like this one!

My heart can't take just how much of a gut-punch this book was. I loved it. But it made me really upset. And I only got upset because I cared very deeply. My mom found me in my room after "the big scene" just curled up in a ball on my bed sobbing. But then I finished it this morning and I'm overwhelmed with love for this book. It's really visceral but it's really wonderful. So great. So so so great.

I promise a more elaborate review later, but for now:

Wow.

Wow, this book was wild. I was not anticipating any of it. I had my suspicions about the plot but felt like I was on a rollercoaster, prepared but surprised nonetheless. There needs to be a trigger warning for this one. While I think the issues Sky had were real and raw, I did not like the handle of things and the maturity the author displayed. While I do love all Colleen Hoover books, I am not the biggest fan of the teenage plot points. Teenagers are not as mature, even the ones who have had lots of trauma. The breakdowns were real and the reactions were real, but the decision-making was not realistic in my opinion. However, I loved it nonetheless and kept me on my toes.
