 Creo que la trama como tal es curiosa e interesante, pero sigo teniendo dificultades para compaginar a estas representaciones con los seres que he conocido a través de la mitología. No me parece como tal un re-telling, pues no cuenta los mitos desde la idea original pero modernizados, ni dándoles un twist, solo usa los personajes en ellos, es más como un fanfiction en mi opinión.

No obstante, fuera de ello, como trama propia es interesante y emocional. La defensa de Zeus a Apolo es de las representaciones más simples, más realistas y más terribles que he visto del pacto patriarcal. Qué asco.

I’m in love with the artistic rendering of Persephone. She’s beautiful and sassy and adorable all in one. The story is so good — and the characters in a modern world are so interesting!

I focus on the artwork as much as as—if not more than—the story but I still can’t make these volumes last more than a day or two. I devour them. 

I still find myself googling the different gods and their relations to other gods, but following the same characters for three volumes has helped.
