What a great ending! Wrapped up all the loose plot ends, AMAZING character development, and so much growth and maturity from City of Glass. I loved all the throwbacks to the Infernal Devices series (my faveeeeeee).
I cant believe I read this in a day and a half, but the pacing was so good? Really hard to put down because everything was happening all at once.
I'll reread this one day but still be completely affected because I love the characters so much.

What a roller coaster, I can’t believe I DNF-ed this as a teenager. This felt like 3 books in one so much happened. I remember not caring for Emma Carstairs but now I am truly very attached to her and the Blackthorns. Jordan’s death was very upsetting but I understand how it fulfilled his character arc well. I did also find it a little funny how drawn out Sebastian/Johnathans death scene was but it was heartbreaking—though, I wished Jocelyn had more of a reaction. Simon’s memory loss hit me the hardest & this epilogue probably impacted me more than the Clockwork Princess one, somehow. All the lose ends tied up, all the easter eggs. I wish Tessa hadn’t been so vague in her conversation with clary and I wish she’d directly interacted with Jace—same with Emma and Jem.
After 5 years, several rereads, many library loans, and a tv show... I finally did it, I finished the mortal instruments
No words.
This was a beautiful end to the series, seeing characters from the Infernal Devices return, their story re-told. The ending, Clary and Jonathan and the way everyone continued their lives. A beautiful ending. I absolutely loved this.

Best of the series
I got a Will Herondale closure, or something that felt like it. Anyway, I feel gratitude and love. That's why the 4 stars. That's it though, as much as I enjoyed other parts, loved other characters, no one came close to Will. He meant the world to me. So, I don't think I'll ever pick up any other Cassandra Clare book. No, thank you. Bye.
