Truthfully, this book was really hard for me to get into at first. I am not sure if it was because I was nervous to jump into a new fantasy world after starting ACOTAR, or if it was because V.E. Schwab is one of my favorite authors and I was so looking forward to starting this book that when I was not immediately invested in it, it put me off. But ohhhh boy, am I glad I pushed through it. This book was incredible. The twists and turns and story. So so wonderful. The three London's was so incredibly confusing to me at first (I don't think it was explained in a bad way, I think that it was a personal challenge to understand), but I eventually got the grasp of it. I loved the main characters. Gosh I love them so much. Their personalities, and their banter. So good. I honestly feel that this book could have been stand alone as well, but I am very excited that these guys will continue their journey in other books, and I will definetly be reading them this year!

------------------------------SPOILERS!!!----------------------------------

If Kell and Lila don't end up together in future books, I will be sending a therapy bill to V.E. Schwab. Their chemistry????? COME ON!!!! So cute. The little kiss for luck at the end? COME ON!!! SO CUTE!!! And the brotherhood between Kell and Rhy. My heart was melting from that. I am so glad I continued this book and I really ended up enjoying it so much. I am incredibly curious to see what happens to White London now that the rulers are dead, and I truly think that Holland is still alive. There is no way they killed him off. I refuse to believe that. He was cruel in this book but I don't think that is who he will turn out to be. I would like to see redemption from him, and a happy ending. AHH. I can't wait to continue the series!!

It just didn't keep my attention and I forgot what the plot was since I kept picking it up and putting it down.
