I loved it. A new story? No, but told in a way that had me glued to my kindle. Evie and Adam were meant to be..the road they traveled to find their HEA was entertaining and heart felt. This author always has a way of connecting me with the characters and the story right away. Enjoyed!

This story is so predictable. I've seen this plot in tons of books. The villain is so obvious and so are her motives. Also, the hard to believe evil parents is another thing that I've seen in too many books. I had such high hopes for this book. I really bought all the hype from bloggers.

Hmm.. 3.5 stars. Random read. Kinda predictable, but still sweet.

This was one of the more depressing books I subjected myself to in my quest for 100 (which I think I'll now just mark #100), and not because it was particularly sad subject matter. No, it was a dumb book with idiotic characters and melodramatic plot points. Almost as bad as November 9, but this book had some mention of surfing...so I guess that makes it a little better...

I love Samantha Towle's books, but this one fell flat. The story was so predictable that I was certain there was a twist, but there wasn't. I did not really have strong feelings for the characters, knew how it would end fairly early on, and was disappointed that it did not give me any strong feelings.
I am used to Towle's books making me feel and engage, perhaps her bar was just set too high for me.
It was a sweet and easy read, just to formulaic for me.

Adam & Evie, where the hell do I begin? I loved it. When I Was Yours was my first Samantha Towle read and it will not be my last. I was taken on one hell of a ride full of up's & downs with Adam & Evie & I couldn't have asked for a better story to keep me awake until 8 am. If you need an emotional, slightly drama filled & intense love story this is your book.
