The dog POV was lovely and this was a nice read overall - not the *amazing* one I was hoping for, though.

Enjoyable read, although I thought the court case was wrapped up a little too easily. I also thought the circumstances around the case were a little too convenient as well.

I just finished reading this book and I was very impressed with the writing and imagination of the author. Although parts of the book were sad, it was an easy-to-read novel told from the perspective of a dog, and I found myself unable to put it down. It also had some great metaphors between racing and life, and I found it a great selection for our book club.

One of the best books I’ve read. What an intriguing perspective! Makes you think about life differently. The philosophy is beautiful: the people in your life are what matter most. A definite must-read!

Very good. Read it because my dog passed away recently and I heard it was a good book to read for grief. My dog passed away in a total different situation but it still helped me to realize it was her time to go and that she's not in pain anymore.
