I usually love Helena's books as they are always a light and easy read, but there was a lot of weird things thrown into this book that just wasn't needed at all.

Blaire's weird family drama...parents switching partners with aunt and uncle? Sister stealing boyfriend? Cousin a disgusting walking hormone.

Ronan is a likeable enemy, and the banter between them has their moments, but this book just missed the mark for me. Hoping the next book I read from H.H. is better.

I thought this was such a fun romance comedy that focused on so many holidays ending right around valentine day. I really loved how this book focused on both male and female lead. I also loved the cupcake elements and also how this book both a job element but also a strong competition element at the heart of it. This book was classic hate to love romance but also a fun cast of side characters. I will admit this book made me super hungry!! Def will read more by this author in the future.

Fun quick rom com read. Definitely made me want cupcakes though! I actually appreciated that while the characters could had some conflicts, nothing was blown out of proportion and everything was settled quite simply and maturely unlike in other rom coms.

Really cute rom com that has me craving cupcakes

This was amazing! Loved the rivalry between the cupcake café owner and the bar owner and their eventual romance.

Definitely recommend to anyone who loves contemporary/romance!

A romance to devour, and savour every moment of...
Blaire comes from a wealthy family of restaurant owners, but she has a dream of running her own business and making it successful on her own terms. Our first encounter with her is as she prepares to open her cupcake and cocktails shop. Things are looking good, but she’d not reckoned on Roman Knight who’s helping out his grandad by renovating the sports bar next door and installing some rather loud attractions.
First meeting between the two is explosive. They’re immediately wound up by each other, which we assume is the start of a great relationship eventually. Everyone around them can see where it’s going, but we have to go through the inevitable misunderstandings and problems first.
While it’s all quite transparent, the main characters are ones you can’t help but fall in love with. They’re far more alike than they want to let on, and the cast of surrounding characters also make for some amusing episodes.
From the off it was pretty obvious where we’d end up but every moment of this journey was great fun, and I’m so pleased that I was able to get my hands on this prior to publication.

This is such a fun book! I absolutely related to Blair. She is my type of go-getter with lots of ambition and organization, combined with loyalty and kindness. But I also fell hard for Ronan. He defies the hipster stereotype she thinks he fits. This book follows the classic enemies to lovers trope. They open competing businesses (hers a cupcake and cocktail cafe that I really want to visit and his a bar with axe throwing). The enemies part is never really mean-spirited. It's amusing.

I laughed out loud. I giggled. I have no idea when I last giggled, but this book made me. Between their verbal sparring and the social media posts that end each chapter, there's a lot to delight in. This is the perfect read for when you want a book that just makes you happy. In the midst of all the crazy happening in the world right now, I am so glad I read this book.

This book is the perfect example of a light romance read! It was a great escape from the crazy world we live in and I enjoyed it, plus it made me crave cupcakes.

If you’re looking for a super quick fun read, this is a good one. Plus, hot lumberjack. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kiss my Cupcake is a very cute and sweet enemies to friends to lovers storyline that I did very much enjoy but sadly it didn't quite hit the mark for me.

I am a huge fan of Helena Hunting but I am beginning to think that I prefer her more X rated books than these chick lit as I fond they have more depth to them!
Kiss my Cupcake is about Blaire and Ronan. Blaire is a lover of baking who goes against her restaurantanteer family and makes a statt for her own by creating a very cute cupcake and cocktails bar. I like Blaire, she is quirky and not ahsamed to be exactly who she is. She is also incredibly hardworking and not afraid to stand up for herself but especially for her business.
Ronan is the plaid wearing "bad boy" next door that owns a loud pub with axe throwing and loves to wind up Blaire at any and every opportunity.
I saw the spark between the character's right from the start but sadly it fizzled out a little for me and left me feeling a little disconnected from the characters thoughts and actions.
The storyline was really good and interesting but in my opinion lacked some character depth with both the leads but definitely with the side character's who were more like props than actual people.
There was problems in the storyline but everything seemed to sort itself out way too quickly and it didn't feel very realisitic.

Overall, it was a very cute easy read which although enjoyable, didn't wow me.

Please note that I was gifted this e-book from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
