Handmade's Tale was amazing, I read it in highschool and it had me checking over my shoulder for years. I would give it a 4 or 5 stars. Oryx and Crake, unfortunately, was a letdown for me.

I'm sorry to admit that I skipped and skimmed from my place in the middle to the last chapter of the book. I really wanted to like it because I liked the ideas, but it started to get long winded and (I'm really sorry Margaret Atwood), tedious.

I will say that the concept still spooks me out though.

Not original and not that interesting - feels like reading a drawn out boring version of Cormac McCarthy's The Road.
