Hard to determine if I like this book or the first one better in this duology but either way just very nostalgic and cute

Great sequel to a great book. We learn more about Phoebe's friends and her relationship grows between her stepfather and stepsister. She also now has the ability to learn more about her father (can't wait if that comes out in the next book). She also grows in her relationship with Griffin.

Like the first book this one was a lighthearted romp through the world of the descendants of gods. Phoebe is a mostly likable character and though the supporting cast is mostly one dimensional but over all a quick fun read.

After reading Oh.My.Gods I quickly started reading Goddess Boot Camp. It is the second book in the series and is written by one of my favorite authors for young adult books. I loved the first book in the series! The second book though just wasn't as great as the first.

I still loved this book, so don't get me wrong. I just felt it needed just a little bit more to it. I loved the witty dialogue that the author never fails to bring to the story. I loved each of the characters in the story as well. The only thing I didn't like was I wanted to read about the trial of Phoebe's Dad. It was a major part of the book, yet we never get to see it. It left me frustrated and hoping that this series will continue with another book that will go into that part of the story in more detail. There were plenty of laugh out loud moments and teen romance that is sweet. The book moved at a normal pace and included a lot of my favorite characters from the previous book.

While this is not my favorite book by this author, it still is a great book with great imagination. I do hope that the author will continue the story of Phoebe and let us see more glimpse's of her relationship with her Father.

This was a decent follow-up to Oh.My.Gods. It was light and fluffy and a pleasant quick read.

This book, just like its predecessor, is just pure fun chick lit. Phoebe is the great grand daughter of Nike and can't control her late blooming powers so her step-dad sends her to goddess camp which for the most part is a bunch of 10 year olds. But between mysterious messages from an unknown person regarding her dad's trial and suspicions that her boyfriend it cheating on her doesn't leave her with much of a summer. Again just a fun summer read!

This book was just as bad as the first one. The problem of this book is not the plot (although the plot isn't great either), but the writing. THIS BOOK HAS THE MOST CHILDISH WRITING I HAVE READ YET! Actually reading this book made me hate the first book in the duology even more (and I didn't like it from the beginning). It was just a hot mess of a book.
Aside from the writing the book was actually boring as well, it was overly perdictable. Nothing new or exciting happened in this book that didn't already happen in the first one. It was a really really bad sequel (not that the first book was any good). In this book we just got more of the same annoying bitchy teenager that seems dumber than a shoe (and not even a fancy shoe...) being overly and unreasonably untrusting and complaining about the same old things we didn't even care about the first time she complained about them. seriously, even for a short book this took a lot of time due to how boring this book was.
Seriously not worth your time, especially if you didn't overly enjoyed the first one.

Would I Recommend? NO!
