I like the idea behind this story - of a group of friends meeting together to encourage each other to follow their dreams, and truly work for it. However, I wish it was more developed and the characters were more three-dimensional. It was a quick read and it was definitely quite inspirational, but the characters felt rather flat to me, and the romance jumped at me out of the blue, and (at least in my opinion) could've as well been omitted.
I also noticed a few things with the writing style that popped out at me - particularly the excessive use of character's names instead of pronouns or other descriptive words. But overall, I think that the author has a lot of potential and with more work, could develop her skills very well.
