Book 2, had a lot more spice and a lot more of plot. So far I’m enjoying my time reading this series, but be warned… this is a pretty standard why choose in an academic setting story. There hasn’t been anything that’s insanely unique to the genre but hoping it gets better in book 3!
Super super fast burn to the point where I was like what is even happening they looked at her and they were in love and also very stereotypical tropes for the men
Killer Cliffhanger
I can’t believe the massive cliffhanger KC Kean left us on at the end of this book. I need the next book IMMEDIATELY. I loved that we were able to witness different sides of Raven in this book. That her character became more complex and relatable. I also loved that each POV from her men also allowed us to see different sides of them and understand the way they think better. There was a lot going on in this book but it was that way for the characters too so instead of feeling like overkill it made me feel like I was experiencing everything along with the characters. I can’t wait to read what the next book brings.

I almost DNF’d this one a couple times. The characters are very immature and almost cartoonish in some of their reactions to things. It’s a why choose story, but two of the love interests don’t really stand out as individuals and honestly they could be condensed down into a ménage or even just regular M/F story. The plot is taking a backseat to the sex scenes which just become monotonous and superfluous, I ended up skipping through them all by about halfway through the book. There are multiple times in the story where we’re about to see plot development but the author just cuts the scene and picks it up later when they’re back home, so we miss anything that happens in real time. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an author spend so much time making a fade-to-black plot while including tons of detailed sex scenes that are just there for the sake of being there. Unfortunately, there just wasn’t enough plot to keep me invested in what happens for the rest of the series
Wow
This cliffhangers are too much and is he evil or nah??? I'm confused and I can't wait to get answers

That ending….. I don’t think I am going to survive the next month until the next book. KC Kean weaves an griping story with just the right amount of plot, tension, spice, and humor. This is in my top 10 reads of 2023!
