I have received this ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I finally did it. I found the time to read this book and slowly devour it. Slowly, is definitely one word and way to describe it this time around. If it wasn't for work, sleep, or any other distraction that came my way, I would have read this all in one sitting without any regrets. And yet, I have no regrets with how I eventually read Embrace of Dragons.

In this, you will meet Arther and Lancelot. Sure, we know so much about these two from other books, stories and movies. Probably a tv show or two. So, I was very intrigued when we were first introduced to these two within this series. Mostly because it's Aja and her writing is basically amazing. I wanted to see how the romance was going to develop between them, if we would ever see the evil woman who hurt these two, and any other information that would give me answers to all the questions being formed along the way.

Besides falling in love with these two finally falling in love, I really liked the action throughout this book. The shadows transforming was an interesting twist this time around. Especially during the fights. Then there's the heart, the lady of the lake, jade emperor, and the twin goddesses. The epilogue sort of hurt my heart because I know Ben's book is next. A little bittersweet because I'm not ready for it but also with that little threat (thank you Tal) I'm beyond excited for it all.

The war. The love. I'm ready for it. Bring it on!
