Second time reading this book and it was just as emotional as the first time if not more knowing what was to come. I don’t know how Josie does it but each book is better than the last. Though I am kinda mad at her for putting me through that ending. Helen has always been one of my favorite characters because her emotions and reactions are so real and relatable. I always find myself laughing with her, crying with her. I keep coming back to her story year after year and the continuation books have earned their place in the Starcrossed world and on my shelf next to the original trilogy.

This series still hits after so many years away. I had a great time reading this but it was super predictable. The ending was super predictable. The fight with Zeus was pretty anticlimactic. It was sort of a convoluted plot but I still enjoyed it.
