Haley has never been into Christmas, but she really wants to land the advertise campaign for Tyler Toys, the company who releases the very popular Christmas doll every year. How can Haley even attempt to pitch a great campaign when she isn't even into Christmas but her coworker is?? She needs to nail this campaign in order for her to climb up in her industry.

Her boss tells her to go to Christmas Camp and get a certificate of competition. This program will help her change her attitude.

When Haley gets there, she struggles life without her phone, laptop, and internet. She is forced to do all of these Christmas themed activities and she cannot handle all the Christmas spirit. Haley meets the owner's son, Jeff, and instantly feels the chemistry between them. Jeff is a bit put off by Haley as she is only doing this Christmas Camp for work and isn't interested in the spirit of Christmas.

Will Haley last the whole time she is supposed to be at this Christmas Camp? Will she change her mind about Christmas?

This was a very cute story about Christmas and just the perfect read to get you into the holiday spirit! I can't wait to watch the movie for this book!

2.5 stars rounded up. I don’t know how to explain it but it felt like it was written to be seen on TV and not written to be read.

This book had been in a stack of books passed on by a friend. I stumbled on it just before the holidays and moved it to the December read pile. I felt like I was in a Hallmark Christmas channel movie the whole time. It was a cute story with a predictable ending but kept me looking for a few minutes of couch time!

Christmas camp? I’d go to that, shoot I could run that from Casa Varela, lol. There is a great amount of Christmas in this book – snow, cute country Inn, baking, Christmas shopping, and holiday meals, the story however was super predictable down to the very end. Is there really somebody who is that not into Christmas? And also seriously someone who’s that successful in business is that helpless in everything else… I don’t buy it. Jeff is also kind of a jerk.So Christmas saves this book, maybe 2.5 stars.

After reading Finding Christmas, I decided to give Karen Schaler a second chance. I liked the main characters in this story more and I liked that it was a sweet romance that neither of them was expecting. Too much dog, too much laughing, and too much talk of cookies and hot chocolate for my taste and for a Christmas Camp with a long list of activities to do, they really do very little, only 1 or 2 a day. This would be perfect for dog lovers and fans of Hallmark Christmas movies.

5 festive stars! Just the book to warm my heart and put me even more into the Christmas spirit. Reading this was exactly like watching one of my beloved Hallmark movies. Complete with the sappy love story and ever-apparent misunderstanding that eventually gets settled with a story-ending kiss. I loved it!

I swear I could probably review all of these Christmas books and say the same thing since they are basically the same story with only a few minor changes here or there. In this book, an ad executive is directed to reconnect with her Christmas spirit at a week of Christmas related boot camp. If she masters this, she just might get the promotion she's been dreaming of. Corny and cliche, this book earns some creativity points for the whole "Christmas Camp" angle, serving as a cute twist on an otherwise predictable trope.

This book was written by the same person who wrote A Christmas Prince for Netflix, so I feel like that pretty much explains everything about this book. It is simultaneously terrible and delightful. I still can't quite fathom what kind of people would pay money to go to a camp that teaches them the (secular!) meaning of Christmas, but that's not the point. Grab a blanket, a mug of hot chocolate, and this book, and you'll have a good (if silly) time.
