This was my second book from this author. Again, the writing was beautiful. The book is about Mary who is going to live with her aunt and uncle. Her uncle is the owner of the Jamaica Inn. The first night Mary feels something isn't right. But what is going on at the Jamaica Inn?
I love the air of mystery. I read it more or less in one sitting, that is how good I thought it was. I'll certainly read more by this author!

A thoroughly enjoyable read, I drive past Jamaica Inn on Bodmin Moor all the time, so good to finally read the book and then really enjoy reading it as well. Some of it is a touch dated but the plot and characters are good, and the story is compelling.
