This series started out really strong but at this point the story is dragging on. I wish the author had wrapped the story up in this 3rd book as I'm not entirely interested in a 4th book just to finish the series. I like the characters so for that reason alone I'll read the last book but otherwise I'm not really much interested in this story at this point anymore.

I'm not gonna say much because once I finished this book I went right onto the last book because I needed to know what happened.
All in all, I'm just gonna say for this book is that I seriously love the magic system that has been set up. I'm so intrigued by it. It really mixes things we know with some new elements. There's a lot on the line, and it really leaves you on the edge of your seat while you're reading.
At first, I thought this was just an entertaining book that I was enjoying when I waited for other books to come off hold, but now I'm recommending it left and right. I hope I have some friends that read it soon! And I hope they enjoy it.

Ehhhhhhh, I've had such a hard time with this one, I'm not sure why. Hopefully, I'll come back to it since I so loved the rest of this series.

I love this series! It ends with such a cliffhanger and I can't wait for book 4 this spring. J. A. White is such a wonderful storyteller and I love the high vocabulary in this book. My students love this series. There is such deep and complex world building elements that I never want to stop reading. Seriously, read this book...like now...go....so good.

I love this book series! Each book more exciting than the last. This needs to be on the big screen, tho they couldn't truly do it justice.
