Extremely graphic wizard smut with an acceptable amount of plot.

Never thought that a series named sex wizards would have me so enthralled in its magic system. The casting style seems really cool and I enjoy how much fleshing out the author gave to the world building. Very good story. :)

Ooh, I liked this one too. Very interesting premise. I loved the built in communication and respect with the BDSM stuff, as well and the genuine care everyone seems to have for each other.
Makes me want to read the next one.

This was an interesting book, good, but not quite like anything I’ve read before. Dom is told he has magic in him and travels to the place where wizards train. He’s essentially a “nobody” since most people with magic in this world come from prominent families.

Alethea doesn’t go in to much detail about the world and how things work, but I was ok with that. You don’t feel lost or anything, you just kind of go with things. It’s very quickly revealed that the wizards make magic with sex. That was definitely something new for me! This book could have just been pure erotica but it really wasn’t.

The wizards are all very inclusive and there are no qualms about being non-binary, or sleeping with someone of the same sex, or even inter-sex species. The encounters are all very safe and nobody is pushed to do something they don’t want to do. The climax of the story involves wizards being abducted by an expelled former wizard, and the story will continue in the next book. This book isn’t really a traditional romance in the sense of it following one couple, or even a throuple. The whole premise is very sex positive and open.
