I was skeptical when I first read the synopsis - too smutty to be good?? - but I quickly found myself caring for the characters and feeling invested in all of their dynamics. Excited to read move of the series

I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this book, but I did enjoy it a lot. I don't normally read non-sapphic books, but this one was highly recommended to me. I was not disappointed. Despite the lack of sapphic-ness, I loved it. The story and world building were both very well done. I will be continuing to read the series.

While this is by far the spiciest book I've read this year, the character development was on point. I was interested in all of the characters, intrigued by their back stories, and was fascinated by the magic of it all. I am going to continue with this series.

This book was kinda wild! LOL. It is smutty as heck but interestingly also sweet and it has a great found family! At first, while smutty, I found the story dragged a tad but it definitely picked up and before I knew it I was invested. Turns out, this is a came for the smut but stayed for the plot book! Even with that said, be warned that this book explores so many kinks and the MC hasn't even tried all the types of magic yet LOL. It does veer a bit dark for a few chapters but has a HEA.
