I really liked this one. I may have liked Zan more than Lottie to be honest. I also felt that the blurb is a teensy weensy bit misleading. I was honestly expecting Zach to be constantly reminding/blaming Lottie of the accident and shoving her face in it actively when in reality it was just his presence that sparked memories she'd rather not deal with. Other than that I think all the relationships in this book we fantastic. I came to love everyone in their little family. I would like to see more of Lottie's roommate which I believe we will in book 2? I think their friendship progressed rather quickly all things considered.

I thought the development of Lexi's character was an interesting twist and I totally felt for her friends and family. I loved the relationship Lottie has with her brother Will and their best friend, Simon. It's very close nit and supportive. I love when the main characters have strong friendships and familial ties.

This whole book was about overcoming pain and guilt. Many of the characters learned to forgive themselves and I felt like the way they do this was very true and progressed naturally. Even though we LOVE Zan, Lottie struggles with her feelings for him. Her reasons makes sense and unfortunately she doesn't get the Zan POV chapters that we do.

And poor Zan, he's just an idiot over her. He's crushing on her so hard he doesn't even know how to speak to her and make her listen. I really wish we got more insight as to what he went through that past year. I would have liked to see his struggle with himself and his feelings for Zach more. I just really connected with him and felt for him, more than anyone else in the book. Weird how that happens lol!

Would I recommend this? Definitely, but be warned, it can be tears inducing for some. Looking forward to more from Chelsea Cameron!! *ARC received in exchange for an honest review!*

This book was amazing! The story was amazing! The characters were amazing! I love it !!

It was a heartbreaking story you cant help but love!
For starters you have Lottie, who is one of the nicest heroines I've ever read about, and her relationship with Will. GOD! I LOVED IT! I would love to read a book just about the two of them, oh and Simon! Though he sort of disappeared after the first half I still loved him! Then you have Katie, who took some getting used to as she seemed a little snobby for my liking at first, but afterwards you cant help but wish you got her as roommate! There's also Audrey, you know that one friend you have that's gorgeous and doesn't know it, well meet Audrey (Kinda would love to read a book bout her and Will). Then Trish and Stryker, well Trish I just know is my type of person and if she were real the whole 'souls-fist-bumping-thing' would definitely happen (you might need to have read the book to get that). Stryker, well I'm a sucker for a musician so I know I'm going to love the next book! Then there's Lexie, her life is just so unfair and I may or may not have cried at some points, the fact that Lottie was there through it all just makes their relationship all that more heartbreaking! And finally we have the Brothers of Doom, one of them you cant help but love and the other.. well if he got run over by a bus I wouldn't mind... Zan, was just so ... so .. well I loved him, especially after the comparison to Mr.Darcy was made.. I mean.. who doesn't love Mr.Darcy??!!! and Zack, god I hated him and I'm glad of the outcome he had.. even if it wasn't severe enough for my liking...
The relationship between Lottie and Zan was amazing to read, you kinda of resented him in a way for what happened but couldn't help yourself in wanting to know more about him.. so [a:Chelsea M. Cameron|5752359|Chelsea M. Cameron|http://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1360621451p2/5752359.jpg] bravo to you.
My only little negative is the ending... It was just a little 'iffy' for me and kinda of 'meh'. I mean it was sweet but I just feel like it could've been better, a little more conclusive even.

I'm really exited to read the next book, super exited about the characters in it as well.. and the fact that everyone else is still going to be in it.. well I hope!!

The thing that I loved most about this book was the characters. They were all so life like and very real. The relationship between Lottie and her twin, Will, was beautifully touching with all their little quirks and special traditions. Simon was an amazing best friend, and the friends Lottie made while in her first year at college were friends that may just last a lifetime.

On the flip side we have Zach and Zan, the two brothers responsible for the accident that left Lottie's best friend severely brain damaged. Zach is the epitome of a party boy - taking advantage of his friends and family and always looking for the next good time. Striking an amazing contrast, Zan is thoughtful and quiet. Trying to make up for something that he feels is all his fault.

The story of Lottie and Zan's relationship isn't simple, no relationship ever is. But is beautiful and crazy and amazing. The way they interact with all the other people in their lives and how everyone seems to end up right where they belong, was a great read that was sweet and heartfelt from every angle. The only thing that really rubbed be the wrong way was Zan's nickname for Lottie - my mind kept changing it to "pretty bird" and picturing a parrot - but I'm sure other people loved it.

I loved this book. It had me laughing and crying and if you can do that, it's a winner.

Would have been a remarkable story but it lacked in so many ways, leading the kick to be a little too low that by the end of the story, my mind was only able to say: "Oh. That's it?"

Deeper We Fall was so much better than I thought it would be which was a pleasant surprise. I really loved this book. Deeper We Fall is about tragedy and loss but, also about forgiveness, love, & friendship.

I really liked the main characters Zan & Lottie. I even liked all the secondary characters and their roles in the story. They all had valuable roles in the story and weren't just there. The only person I didn't like was Zack but, you're not meant to like him. I really liked the duel pov's of Zan & Lottie and being able to see what each one was thinking and what their perception was on what happened. The relationship and the way it progressed between Zan & Lottie felt realistic because of the circumstances surrounding them. You felt her struggle and understood why she didn't want to like Zan even though she did. You can also feel Zan's intense love for Lottie and how he's struggling to just keep it together and not lose it (especially when it came to his brother Zack).

The author did a great job capturing the emotions of everyone involved in the story. As a reader I could feel what each person was going through along with them. I'm really looking forward to the next book in the series.

The plot was very interesting and it was a spin on he wronged her and then they go through all this drama as they try to make a relationship happen. It was a fun read but had no real depth. There were some emotional parts that did get to me and I felt that the author did a great job writing them. Other parts I felt that the emotions were forced and that the characters moved almost too fast.

Lottie was an good character and it was fun to read through her perspective. But there was these little things that she did during the book that made me tick. First she didn’t want to call Zan “Zan” because it reminded her that she was dating the guy that supposedly gave Lottie’s bestie brain damage in a car wreck. So she changed his name to Alex so she felt better about herself or didn’t feel like she was betraying her best friend.

Zan was just so in love with Lottie that he couldn’t see straight and see her faults. It really got on my nerves the things he let slide by. He let her call him by a different name and pretended to be someone he wasn’t so she felt better about herself. Then, he called her by a different name so he wouldn’t feel like he was going out with the girl who hated him. Very annoying.

Otherwise the book was fun to read and I enjoyed the plot of the book. The author did a pretty good job with the writing and I feel that many people will be interested in this book.

This is the second book I've read by [a:Chelsea M. Cameron|5752359|Chelsea M. Cameron|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1436646125p2/5752359.jpg], the first being [b:My Favorite Mistake|15748898|My Favorite Mistake (My Favorite Mistake, #1)|Chelsea M. Cameron|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1361713404s/15748898.jpg|21441527], which I liked a great deal. Deeper We Fall is a Mature Teen/New Adult novel written in the alternating points-of-view of Lottie (Charlotte) Anders and Zan (Alexander) Parker. The author scored a lot of points with me by clearly identifying who narrated each section — I've read several books where the narrator was not identified and found them to be highly frustrating!

I really enjoyed this book. It started a little slow, but ended up being really good. This is the second book I have read by this author and will definitely be reading more of her books.

I'm just starting getting into the New Adult genre, but Chelsea Cameron's books are definitely some of my favorites.

I would recommend this book to anyone who like New Adult!

3.5 maybe?

This book had its good parts and bad parts. There were parts that were just perfectly great but then there were also parts that were completely bland. Sometimes there would be this build up of suspense but then the climax was totally not worth that suspense. The end (or second half) of the book got a but sloppy in my opinion. Things were happening out of nowhere, Zan all of a sudden had this secret that he had been eating him from the inside but there was no mention of such secret in the first half, it came out of nowhere. I mean, I guess I should have expected it... but I didn't because there was no mention of it until randomly towards the end. I was pretty disappointed with Zack's conclusion and, well, the entire conclusion in general. Another thing was that there were so many characters in the beginning half, and I loved that, but most of them sort of disappeared towards the middle and I completely forgot about them until the end when they started showing up again.

The book wasn't as bad as I might have made it seem. It was a good read and the beginning, especially, was fantastic. I just wish the second half had more substance and oomph to it.
