Surprisingly I preferred this one to the first. The story was hooking, but the writing didn’t particularly grab me on thing I continually noticed was repetition of certain phrases, mostly that characters liked to ‘regard each other’ it really bugged me hahaha
But overall a good story, i wont be reading the other books but i found it an interesting read.

man I wanna simultaneously strangle jude for being so evil and hug him for all the trauma he's been through. villains aren't born, they're made, and honestly it's the crosses that have done this to him

sephy is really struggling here in the aftermath of callum. i wish she would've put her own needs first sometimes. i am very puzzled over the letter
