The stream of consciousness flow of the writing was my favorite part of this book. The main character is so different from us in the facts of their physiology, so the first person narrative as if they're doing a lifestyle vlog is really fun.

This book is a deeply interesting dive into the stream of consciousness of a shape shifting alien trapped on earth. It challenges gender, gender roles, morality, and what it means to be human. It dives into connection through sex and the desire to live and be loved. ‘Walking Practice’ is compelling, challenging, curious, and everything someone can possibly crave from a dark and perplexing comedy.

It's a fun quick read and it does what it set out to do reall  well. I like the narrative of a space alien not understanding human society, especially gender and sexuality in order to criticise said social norms a lot. Sometimes however, i felt like the author kind off forgot the plot and just inserted their society critical rants, this could've been made a bit more plot relevant sometimes.

Compliments for the translator who did a really good job. At some point the type face changes (iykyk) and they found a great solution translating the Koreon alphabet to the Latin one but keeping a similar effect.
