Though the bear no relation to the realities of evil in which I believe, this anthology of short stories about the devil was largely entertaining, often humorous, and occasionally instructive. Two of my particular favorites are found herein - Satan and Sam Shay, and The Devil and Daniel Webster. The former is simply hilarious, and the latter is a wonderfully written tale of talking the devil out of his due. Both illustrate one of my own beliefs, that until one has chosen wickedness, there is always a way to escape the Satan's grasp.

This was harsh and cruel. It unexpected and surprisingly, I did not hate it. This gives one a lot to think about.
