It’s a solid romance. I’m a big fan of romance and also of anything to do with horses. So this book was a win for me.
Billies character is so easy to fall in love with! This book had a very beautiful happy ending that really made me cry

I could not stand whiny bitch baby Vaughn Harding my god. I love Billie though and she’s the reason I did not completely hate this book. She and that man had absolutely no chemistry however. Like a lot of other reviewers already said, she had more chemistry with her horse. That relationship was the real love story here in my opinion.
The writing was also a little too cringy for me.

I did not like Vaughn at all. He was so annoying and full of himself. He didn’t ever make me like him. I understand why he would want to restore his grandfathers reputation if his grandfather didn’t do it but he did so I don’t understand his reasoning for what he did. Billie was better but she was very immature and not easy to root for. I didn’t ever feel a connection between them either. I didn’t like this one at all.
