Finally had the time to read this. Worth the wait, but wish I had read it earlier. Tears, warm fuzzies, and super sweet moments.

So much about this book that I love. It's small town, which is always good, it's low angst, it's a second chance romance and it has a little girl that stole my heart. HJ Bellus always comes through with such great stories, and this one hits the mark. Jules and Jessie are high school sweethearts, but when it comes time to adult, Jessie takes off to college, leaving Jules. When Jules comes back years later for her grandfather's funeral, this couple get their second chance. I loved the premise of this book, it's sweet and is how we all want life to be. While there are unanswered questions, and I wish Jules was a little less forgiving, their time together well worth the listen. But Whit definitely steals the show. With her innocence and tonacity, that little girl sure is spunky!

Austin Wulp and Whitton Frank give a good dual narration to this book. At times, they each did sound slightly monotone, but I found they both have a good variety of voices and complimented each other in style and pace. It's a great afternoon story to enjoy.
