Christina and Lauren’s books are slowly but ever so surely making their way into my list of favourites. As the second book of theirs that I’ve read, I just did not want to put this book down. I loved reading about Holland and Calvin and their story was just so beautifully enticing to me and I adored the overall arc of the novel I just wish it could have gone on for even longer and I would’ve happily continued reading.

A side note though is that I am awful at imagining characters and, having recently watched Marvel’s Eternals, the second Calvin was described as Irish all of the physical description left my mind and all I could picture was Barry Keoghan. Am I mad about it? Absolutely not.

3.5 for this book. This story was pretty good. I finished it a week ago and I’m already forgetting what I liked about it, so obviously it didn’t impress me that much. I did like it though. Christina Lauren is a good writer(s) and I wasn’t bored or disappointed.

Christina Lauren are one of my go-to authors but this book wasn’t one that I would read again.
The middle of the plot book was quite enjoyable but unfortunately the beginning and end were somewhat gruelling.
