I don’t remember reading this before. I only read book #1 this time and enjoyed the banter, humor and storyline.
Late for work Joyce runs into Doshan Commander Kede and he immediately chooses her to be the human ambassador for his spaceship.
Misunderstandings and adjustments are needed by both Joyce and Kede. His crew also are in for a big adjustment with a human woman on their ship.

I really liked Joyce, she stands up for herself, and she's very assertive about it. She curses a lot, wich confuses the Doshan, and I was laughing a lot. I didn't like Kede very much, he's a bit of a cookie-cutter protective alien male, withouth too much depth. If there had been more to him this would be a five stars review.
