Chasing His Bunny by Golden Angel is a wolf-shifter fated mate romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Jim Pelletier. This is the first book in the Big Bad Bunnies series.

This is the first book of Golden's that I have read and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Bethany and Steele.

I can't wait to dive into the next book Chasing His Squirrel so I can get Brady and Jesse's story.

Jim did a good job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of his work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like paranormal romances.

I came into this series with Chasing His Puma & really loved it so now I'm going back to read what I've missed. This, like the other I've read, is just a please to read. The characters are fun to read, the situations aren't the standard shifter storylines, the story moves at a great pace & it's well written (there are a few grammatical/editing errors). Overall, this feels 'lighter' than other shifter stories & fun in a way that I really enjoyed.

Would have been a higher rating if the editing was better. Lots of inconsistencies where wrong names are used etc. Had an Eve Langlais feel to the writing, not bad, would probably try the author again.

Holy Smokes Batman! It’s Hybrid Shifters!

Before starting this series, I read [b:Night of the Wild Stags|38103028|Night of the Wild Stags|Golden Angel|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1519863236s/38103028.jpg|59777465] so I sort of knew what to expect. Still…it didn't prepare me for the Bunson siblings, especially Bethany and Bailey.

Bethany and her way of naming people was hilarious! I loved all the things she called Steele although he did have a good one for her, little bunny foo-foo. I love Steele as much as Bethany. He was patient with her and wanted to her to feel safe and loved. His comfort and care for Bethany's little sister, Bailey, was sweet as well.

I like the twist on fated mates that Ms. Angel used in her shifter universe. It’s different and gives the characters more choice and control which I really enjoyed.

Loved the Monty Python references sprinkled throughout the book especially what Bethany called Bailey after she shifted for the first time.

While this book and series does have its fair share of drama and suspense, it's light-hearted and comedic at the core. It's about the relationships more than fighting the evil doctor and his employer.

I don’t even know what I found more annoying: the constant use of Mr this-and-that on every page, the over use of !, the “not like other girls” vibes while still being exhaustingly adherent to gender norms, or some of the other ten things I could highlight.

It reads like someone’s first attempt at romance, where the person imitates what they’ve read and regurgitates it, hoping something original and good will come out. Which it very much didn’t.

The main characters are portrayed as being good people (or there around at least) but everything they do and think just reaffirmed that they weren’t. Just that they were stuck in the fifties when it comes to the need to be “feminine” this and “masculine” that.

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this.

Chasing His Bunny (Big Bad Bunnies #1) by Golden Angel – This was a freebie series starter. I love the world building in this shifterverse, and the banter between the leading characters is fun! Happy Reading!

This was a fun "Big Bad Bunnies" shifter story. It is erotica but has a really good story going of being experiments and having a different shifting ability. They don't understand shifter rules and ways and being claimed as a mate immediately, Bethany rebels. Still, she is very attracted to this man so maybe it'll be just a bit of play. In the end, what will he think when he discovers her secret?
