Yeah well.. am one those.. I feel that I should apologies to some one as lot of people loved This book and gave 4 or 5 starts. This started off good and I thought I might like it. But it's as boring as a watching a white wall.

Story had good potential and romance had potential too but she had to go and make 90℅ of the book into romance. Just could not bear it. I was skipping most of the "romantic" writing to get to finish it. I just could not like it. it's barely fine.

setelah baca sampe abis, gue tetep ngerasa jatuh cinta sama gimana si penulis bangun cerita entah dari romance Megan Nate ataupun misteri misteri perjalanannya. Rekomendasi banget.

I was so glad to see there was a follow up story for Megan Hunter as her circumstances were so tragic I needed more than my own imagination to envision a happier future for her. This one definitely surpassed whatever I could have delivered.

Nate West was the ideal partner for Megan given his history. His physical injuries may have hindered his prospects for deeper relationships, but they were only "skin deep" because his spirit was remarkable. On the surface, Megan looks as if she's got the world mastered but that's just a façade to mask the pain beneath regarding her past and guilt for what she allowed to happen to her brother, Marc. Their relationship developed nicely and the outcome, despite some really tense moments in between, was truly heartwarming.

Loved this story and Megan's triumph. The bonus short story accompanying this one, Marc and Julian's Beer Run, was just that...a really nice bonus. And, Kaleo Griffith's narration is just perfect. For a short story, it covers a lot of ground. 4.5 stars

I really need to read a full length I-Team novel, this is a short story said to be 5.5.

Nate West is a scarred cowboy/hero that stays to himself on the family ranch, but he hope to see 'her' when he makes the beef donations to the community kitchen.

Megan has made mistakes and has been more than punished but she and her daughter are trying to make a life for themselves. The past always seems to catch up to them. This time Nate is there to save Megan from harm.

This is a quick romance but it was well written and makes me want to read the rest of the series. My only complaint is that it could have been longer.

Short, sweet read about Marc's sister, Megan. I was very happy with how things turned out for Megan in the I team Series books. I know that she deserves a second chance in life and get a wonderful man who will back her up at each twist and turn. I'm so happy that Nate found her.. or them, since Emily will forever be with Megan. He may not be so perfect anymore on the outside, but on the inside, he's just the same hero. I'm happy for them both. This was a nice read. :)

This is the first book I’ve tried in this series and i especially liked the beauty and the beast theme here. The hero, Nathaniel, was an amazing and to die for damaged ex-marine. He was so protective, tender and sweet with Megan and her daughter and he was the ultimate knight in shining armour. I truly admired his sense of honour and integrity and strength which only made him that much sexier instead of appearing distant and cold. I like a story where you can experience events from both POV and this story delivered on that point.

I've really enjoyed reading this tender sensual romance and will be sure to check out the other books in this series, especially that of Meg's brother.

In this beautiful novella spin off of the I-Team series we see how Megan (Marc's sister) is being stalked by Donny (Emily's father). Megan thought all of that was behind her and that she was finally safe. But it all changes when Donny shows up wanting money from her. He threatens Megan, and her daughter Emily if he doesn't get it soon. While he's making these demands his plan is thwarted when Nate a man whose seen Megan around stands in to help her get rid of Danny.

Nate is a man with his own scars inside, and outside. But when he sees Megan's in trouble he does everything he can to help. And during that time he comes to find out he is actually attracted to her, and her to him. This is a first for both of them in a really long time. They both have to work through their scars to find what's below the surface. Their story is truly a beautiful love story. I loved how Nate realized that Megan actually was attracted to him, so he did everything he could to prove to her he wasn't like the men in her past who had hurt her. He worked really hard to be there for her. And I also loved his dad Jack. That man was awesome as well, and little Emily was just adorable. This book was very good with action, drama, and lots of tenderness. I really enjoyed this book. And it had an added story of the I-Team men having a dangerous experience in the end. I really enjoy this series, and I can not wait to read more.
