Il est 6h du matin. J’aimerais dire que je suis une lève tôt et que j’ai fini ce livre en partant travailler.
Mais 1) je ne suis pas du matin. 2) on est en plein confinement.
Je n’ai pas dormi de la nuit. Principalement parce que mon anxiété fait des siennes, encore. Et puis j’avais besoin de savoir ce qu’il allait arriver à Azalée.
Dans ma nuit agitée et compliquée, je suis soulagée d’avoir eu Eden avec moi.
C’est mon deuxième livre de Morgane. Je crois que je suis amoureuse de ses livres, maintenant.

I heard so many great things about this one so I had to give it a try. And what can I say, I loved it.
Even though I had to get used to the writing style at the beginning, I totally enjoyed reading this novel.
This is what I call a diverse book! There were so many great, different characters (not ‘just’ the gay friend) and the feminist protagonist is exactly what the world needs right now. Also, the book doesn’t reproduce any gender stereotypes!! Finally.
There were definitely some difficult topics that need a trigger warning (which are clearly stated at the beginning of the book), for me personally it was fine, but that is totally subjective. Nevertheless, it is important to discuss such topics in books, that’s why I liked it even more.
This book is definitely not like any other romance/New Adult books I’ve read.

Gerade beendet und ich weiß gar nicht, was ich sagen soll, ich bin einfach nur sprachlos. Schon lange habe ich kein Buch mehr in einem Rutsch gelesen und es gleichzeitig so geliebt und mich so wund danach gefühlt. Alle Charaktere in dem Buch sind liebevoll, vielschichtig und authentisch ausgestaltet, der Schreibtisch ist schön und lässt eine nur so durch die Seiten fliegen.
Auch den ersten 200-300 hat man noch hauptsächlich einfach eine gute Zeit, weil Eden und Azelea so eine tolle Dynamik haben, dann holt einen gegen Ende die Realität ein. Das Buch verarbeitet wahnsinnig viele, wirklich schwere Themen und das auf eine so authentische Art, dass es weh tut.
Ich habe es geliebt, bin glücklich und könnte weinen zugleich.
