Just as funny as the first one, a quick, laugh out loud read, perfect for book lovers. I honestly have nothing bad to say about these books, so excuse the short reviews

I just want more! Why isn't this longer?! So good, nice to have close by for when you need something to make you laugh.

Although it's not as funny as the first book, it is still an amusing read. Thank you Jen for putting it out there cause most people don't realize just how many weird questions one gets working at a bookstore/ library.

Not as enjoyable as the first Weird Things... But it was still funny.

A delightful short read.

I read it in half an hour. I've accidentally read #2 before #1 but they are so short so I don't mind. It is a little breather before another lengthy novel that I am now ready to begin.

There was some mild humorous anecdotes throughout.

2.5/5

Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops was a Sunday Times bestseller, and could be found displayed on bookshop counters up and down the country. The response to the book from booksellers all over the world has been one of heartfelt agreement: it would appear that customers are saying bizarre things all over the place - from asking for books with photographs of Jesus in them, to hunting for the best horse owner's manual that has a detailed chapter on unicorns.

Customer: I had such a crush on Captain Hook when I was younger. Do you think this means I have unresolved issues?

More Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops has yet more tales from the antiquarian bookshop where Jen Campbell works, and includes a selection of 'Weird Things...' sent in from other booksellers across the world. The book is illustrated by the BAFTA winning Brothers McLeod.

Ever since I read the first book Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops, I'd hoped there would be something similar-- and there was! The sequel is just as hilarious as the first, revealing original and unbelievable takes on customers, and the wise cracks of the booksellers who serve them. My favorite too was the innocence of children and their interaction with books.

If you're looking for a nice and quick reading break, this is definitely one to pick up, and have you rolling on the floor with laughter.
