This is the exact kind of fun, campy slashers that I was hoping for. Amusement parks are also one of my favourite settings. I was impressed by how developed/unique all the characters were

Rewind or Die Book 4

This had every 1980' slasher movie cliché, and I could not be more happy about it. Some of the tropes were included tongue in cheek, but they were there. This is the most perfect example of what this series should be, and for that it is getting all the stars!

I've heard nothing but great things about Cirque Berserk. Unfortunately, this is one of the cases where the book did not live up to the hype. Cirque Berserk has it all an abandoned carnival, creepy clowns, an 80's origin story, a budding teen romance, and devil worship!

But all of those elements together made this feel like it was throwing everything at the Wheel of Death and seeing what stuck, pun intended.

I felt no connection to ANY character in this book and would have been much happier if it was just a story of a group of teens getting into shenanigans in a haunted carnival.

Far too many typos for me to take this seriously. Aside from that though, just didn't get behind any of the characters or really get to know much about them. Premise is interesting enough but the book overall kind of fell flat. Typos!!!
