I had a hard time following the story. Moving from character to character lost me quickly. The plot was interesting enough.

I can't believe this is writing for children, it's smarter than most books written for adults. Each character here is multidimensional, no one is all good or all bad. And to top it all of, the writing style is so funny. I've read this book many times over the years and it never ceases to delight me.

This was the wildest mystery I've ever read, mostly because it was told from every characters point of view. I have to say, I strongly suspected many of the end results, but it took a long time to figure anything out. I think the only mystery I've read that comes close to how crazy this was is The Winterton Deception: The Final Word, and I'm pretty sure the author got inspiration from The Westing Game because there were many elements that were similar of practically the same (Especially the compass theme here and the seasons theme there). Anyway, it was a really good book, though I'm not much of a fan of the writing style, it was a little bit confusing. However, I managed to (mostly) keep track of all the characters and who's who, which is more than I can say for other books (*cough* TLOTR *cough*) Overall, though, it was a great mystery.
I had a lot of trouble reading when I was a kid due to dyslexia. After I went to eye therapy for a long time, this was the first book I read that I was actually able to enjoy. I read it at least six times in a row when I first got it. This book is probably responsible for why I love thrillers/mysteries so much today.
