I thought the plot was great, the magic system was interesting and well thought out. I loved elsbeth as the main character. Only thing I didn’t enjoy was the pacing of the romance. It felt rushed, I wish there was more time taken to develop the relationship between the two. I didn’t expect the ending so I will be definitely be picking up book two soon!

I love the unique magic system in this book and the plot line overall. The second half really got me hooked and the ending was everything and more I had expected. Perfect amount of romance and fantasy with absolutely lovable characters.

I HATE when a book ends and the story is only half over. Just write a longer book! That said, this one was catchy. The magic was unique though the characters a bit tropey.
