A Grimm-esque novel for the dark romance book people. The main character was a bit one note and the romance felt a bit forced, but the plot and the magic of the world are enough to keep going. I’ll be reading the next book in the series.

I loved this! And I wasn’t sure if I would ever really like another romantasy. Though I think this is heavier on the fantasy than the romance. I loved the characters and the story. This was just so well done!
