QUICK PITCH: An alien race has put Jean Grey on trial--but this Jean Grey hasn't committed those crimes! The X-Men and the Guardians team up to get her back! Hilarity and awesome fight scenes ensue!
VERDICT: Of the three volumes I read, I enjoyed this one most. The art stayed good, and the writing crackled more--no crossover confusion here. The shifts between Jean's storyline and the rescuers' storyline kept the story moving, and the interactions between the Guardians and the X-Men were hilarious. (Rocket, Groot, Beast, and Iceman should get a spinoff.)
Note: I 'ship Gamora/Angela.

Only been reading All-New X-Men but glad I got the crossover because it would have made no sense otherwise. Also good to get to know the Guardians before the movie is out as I know nothing about them.

Marvel's constant apologizing and excusing themselves for Jean Grey's 20+ amoral choices are so exhausting.
