I'm slowly getting ready for the fourth book in the series. I don't want to devour these books too quickly, but I hope the new one will be on its way quite soon and I at least wanna finish the fourth one before the fifth one publishes. So, I thought this was the perfect moment to read this Insider's Guide, published in between book 3 and 4. And because of the short stories, separate chapters and parts, it was a perfect book to read before bedtime.
Of course the book doesn't really add much, but it's entertaining and hilarious. The book did fill in some blanks, gave some more background information on certain characters and certain reactions and it reminded me again why I love this series so much and why I can't wait to dive into the fourth book and get the fifth. The mythology, the setting of the school, the politics, all the different supernatural creatures. It's just so much fun!
I also really enjoyed the short Hudson novella at the end of this one! Hudson has quickly become my favorite character in the series and one of my new book boyfriends. Getting so much from his point of view, and especially getting to learn why he stays and endures Grace with Jaxon, was really amazing and really made me love him even more. I now just want to read it because I need more Hudson in my life. I hope for more bonus chapters in the next books from his POV!

A perfect Novella for all the characters we don’t know much about. There's definitely a lot of details that complete the story some more.
