Nothing brings me, a grown adult, more joy than this series. I don't know what Tracy does or how she does it, but everything she writes is laced with magic. At this point, I'm convinced. There's no other way to describe it. This was such a fun read! I couldn't put it down. From the laugh-out-loud text conversations to the heartwarming novella, this was an absolute delight! It makes me that much more excited for Court!

It’s so great to get some extra background on a big piece of a complex series. I loved all the extras this book gave me: character profiles, Katmere information, and deleted scenes (the last one is SO COOL). As much as the extra scenes and points of view help shape the earlier books in the series, I wanted more, like the history of the school. Give me a prequel please!

Nice to have all that extra info.
Loved the novella.
My heart only broke a little bit and I have so many unanswered questions still, but this really made me understand the characters and the world a bit better.
