i missed my favorite interdimensional, memetic entity that would stop at nothing to dominate the world. the jokes—fourth wall or not—were incredibly witty, the crash out over his homoerotic situationship was valid, and being sent to therapy by an enormous, space axolotl was just the cherry on top.

The Book of Bill was the PERFECT thing to drag me kicking and screaming out of the reading slump I've been in! This was fun and terrifying and had me laughing and jumping throughout the whole book. As a lifelong gravity falls fan, this book was the perfect addition to an already incredible fandom.

It comes as no surprise that Alex Hirsch has an amazing understanding of Bill Cipher and his inner workings. Seeing Bill come to life again in his own little masterpiece was awesome and added a lot more information to the story. I loved all the little codes and secret messages hidden throughout the book, deciphering the individual codes was a perfect little challenge to get my brain moving and motivated again.

The joke per page count on this book is absolutely insane. There are like 10 jokes per page, on average.

It's really nice to see what Alex Hirsch is able to do when Disney's not breathing down his neck.

Never thought I’d be giving a confident five stars to the multimedia spinoff book of a Disney XD show but — Gravity Falls has a very special place in my heart, I genuinely believe that Alex Hirsch is a creative genius, and this silly little book struck a balance that I *adore* between creepy, moving, and (truly) laugh-out-loud funny. If that’s cringe, I simply cannot be bothered.
