As soon as I read the introductory planet Yoo-suck and planet Fu-huk-yoo, I knew this would be a funny read. Overall enjoyed this, although I did skim read a handful of scenes. I appreciated that Reuben’s feelings and apprehension weren’t immediately resolved, and were an actual ongoing conflict to be resolved with time and trust.

“Being abducted by aliens may not have been on my bingo card for the year, but being loved by one had been written in the f-ing stars.”
If it could end up as wonderful as Vo’ak and Reuben’s story, everyone should be so lucky. I really enjoyed this book, it had some of my favorite tropes: fish-out-of-water, forced proximity, fated mates, miscommunication (but just a bit), touch-him-and-d!e vibes, special spicy accessories, and so much more.

Well, that was a wonderful eventful story.
Our little human was abducted and moved to another planet ruled by Vo’ak our lizard King.
From first sight, smell, or awareness, they were destined to be mates.
Vo’ak is a big, impressive, beautiful reptile, protective af over his mate, Roo is a hugely reluctant human who loves to get his brains f*cked out, but also just wants to go home.
Getting to know Vo’ak and the others on planet U’suhk makes him just a little less reluctant.
Following them on their journey was a very pleasant experience. There are hot encounters, excitement, there's hurt and pining both a capital letter.
Vo’ak was a fabulous character, Roo a blunt, traumatized reluctant human, together firework!
Overall a very entertaining story! There could be some triggers, you can find them on the author’s website and at the start of the book.
