Fascinating subject, but the narrator is deeply unlikeable and the writing juvenile.

Read it in one sitting. Some of the negative reviews talk about Jason being cocky and annoying but I didn’t get that impression. He explains his reasons and even goes into detail about where his personality traits come from.

I wish there was more about Dahmer. The relationship he formed with Gacy is beyond intense. In fact the way he manages to catch each of the serial killers is impressive. Obviously reading the snippets from correspondence is incredible but it just made me wish to read the full letter, I wish he would have uploaded them all to a blog or something. Sadly he took his own life so that will likely never happen unless maybe his brother decides to take this step.

I loved this book. Now I feel like I need to have a shower to clean myself off from all the evil.

Hard to rate because its really easy to dislike the main dude.

This was nauseating, but immensely fascinating. The narrative style of this made it easy to forget it’s nonfiction, but the content brought me back to reality quickly. Most certainly not for the faint hearted, but an immaculate macabre nonfiction.

Hard to read, but really interesting insight into such dangerous minds.

I can see how people become addicted to True Crime novels. I thought this book was fascinating and I couldn't stop reading it!

Terrifying yet intriguing. I know that many of us are interested in serial killers, but I found this book to be a warning to fans not to take their obsession too far. Overall a truly engrossing story, but I wish it would've included more examples of his letters/responses as well as more analysis of what he discovered.
