5 Stars!
The second book was excellent, even more than the first. The character development that was slightly lacking in the first book was accomplished in spades in this, the middle book of the series. I have zero complaints!
A full review of the series will be posted on the final book ([b:Sinful Empire|35841774|Sinful Empire (Mount Trilogy, #3)|Meghan March|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1507657224s/35841774.jpg|57352494])

I absolutely loved book #1 ([b:Ruthless King|59346180|Ruthless King (Mount Trilogy, #1)|Meghan March|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1634184600l/59346180._SX50_.jpg|56447182]) and a few chapters into this thought it might be suffering from "second book syndrome". It didn't take long for me to realise just how wrong I was about that. If anything this book is even better than the first. I definitely devoured it as quickly as possible - sleep is an overrated commodity!

We get to know Mount so much better in this book, and I am now totally in love with both him and Keira. He may have committed monstrous deeds but Mount would raze the earth to protect Keira, the poor man is smitten. Meanwhile, she is oblivious of just how much power she truly wields.

The surprises, the blows and the threats are constant, MM has somehow managed to write this so that you never want to step away from the story. I have absolutely no idea where this story will go next. I do know that despite the way he manipulated Keira into his world and bed, Mount has definitely earned his redemption and I was only too happy to see Keira take her place, as Queen, at his side.

I can't wait to read book #3.

Oh my good, this trilogy is just messing with my mind. Okay the freaking cliffhanger is just killing me. I cant wait to get my hands on the third book. I had to go borrow this one from my friend.

Anyways, this is just a continuation of the ruthless king. We get to see their relationship more. Obviously he is falling in love with her but also he is trying to fight the feelings he is developing for her. But you know it is with these books.

I cant wait to read sinful empire I finally finish the triology

the first 20% of this book is a conflict that it'd work as a good plot, but it gets resolved a few pages later, then the rest of the book is sex, butt plugs, sex, sex, butt plugs, sex and then FINALLY they start acting like normal humans and its soooo cute

The second in the series/serial, like the first it ends with what is really the first chapter of the next book giving it that cliffy feeling.
