Tessa Dare

3.74 AVERAGE

I give this a 3.75. I really liked it but not as much as I loved the first book in the series. The characters fell a little flatter for me but I enjoyed the story.

Super cute!! Pulled me out of my book rage after that terrible pretend post apocalyptic book.

Anyways, my favorite part of this book, cake sounds. ::giggle:: Please, we all make them. I thought it was hilarious the heroine wanted to open a brewery, my husband and I have been talking of doing the same, but I do not have her taste repertoire. I just know if I think it tastes good or not. But anyways, fun times, cute book in typical Dare fashion.

Sweet but boring. Felt like a filler book in a trilogy.

A historical romance where they communicate!?!? We love to see it.

This is almost 5 stars. I enjoyed it 5 stars worth. I loved the characters and the way the story progressed. But i dont want to give all books i enjoyed this much 5 stars. It has to be something really special to be 5 stars like romancing the duke. I didn't connect with this one as much as the other one because i wasn't as interested in the brewery and rafe being a fighter. I still really liked that though. Its so woman positive because back then it would be near impossible to start your own brewery. The whole story was really funny. There were so many cute scenes that made me smile. Like the one about the cake and the dog eating the ring. Rafe cared so much about that dog. I didn't really understand why he was trying so hard to get her to marry his brother when he loved her but its sweet its because he loves him. Also signing of the papers didnt make much sense to me because i can't imagine that being a thing. I loved watching them plan a wedding together and all the things he did for her. I loved them together and hearing about their history. It was a really cute and funny book. Looks like i found another favorite author.
