Oo! I can't tell you how many times I was literally yelling at this book while I was reading it! I just wanted to absolutely devour this book!
Light and Misa lose their whole memories regarding the Death Notes after being taken into custody by L. But was this all part of Light's plan? Meanwhile, an entire company seems to have gained the powers Light and Misa once had. L tries to plan Light's innocence so he can put him on the case to finding out who this next person with the powers is. Light cooperates with L, but L is still suspicious of him, so he handcuffs himself to Light for further surveillance. Light, so far, is going by L's wishes. And as he is helping to find the next person with the powers, he wonders to himself if he was ever capable of having such power.

I found this book much slower than the first two and nowhere near as engaging. I'm starting to be very annoyed by "L".....he is just a very annoying person and I keep finding myself really wanting him to go away! And the Yotsuba meetings were just tedious! The last couple chapters kind of made the whole book, the rest was sort of bland.

Reread: I def agree with my previous review. The middle was super confusing but it doesn’t matter because the ending was so fast paced.

y’all i’ll be real with you i’m not doing a real review because i don’t care. i skimmed too much of this for me to comment. i only finished it because it’s “short”. i’m lowkey returning this & the rest of the series.
Less interesting compared to the first 2 but I am anxious to continue because of that ending!
