Second time reading and it’s impressive how annoying and selfish and irritating the main character is, he is delusional and every five seconds I want to killl him.
Each new plot and new character happens because a man is doing something, every woman or female character is disposable, or they die or they are manipulated by the main character to do exactly what the main character wants, that’s just absurd.

I felt like it was all a filler, ok Kira and Second Kira lost all their memories, and they’re working with L and the other officers to find themselves, even saying out loud sounds absurd. It’s because it is. L is sure that they are or ware the murderers and yet he does nothing. Oh my god I’m going to handcuff Light to me so I’m always watching him… PLEASE he is the most intelligent person on earth!
I thought he was going to die in this one, so every plot that happened I was, ok bye L, love you. But is in the beginning of the fourth.

After Light gave up the Death Note, I found it very hard to stay engaged with the story. It was slow and vastly uninteresting, as the chase between Light and L was over, but I kept on for my husband who so greatly enjoys both the manga and show, and I would like to watch it. That being said, I'm glad I stuck with it! Those last hundred pages or so with Misa uncovering Higuchi and the big chase was awesome! I can't wait to see what happens next!

This series is so tense and exciting! It was weird to see Light in the hero role and I’m so curious to see how Light’s plan unravels.
