This was more of a Romantic Suspense than a straight up thriller like Modglin usually writes but holy crap, I absolutely loved it! The plot was good and the characters were amazing.

I did kind of guess part of the twist fairly early on in the book but I wasn’t totally sure that I was right until it was actually revealed. It didn’t personally take away any enjoyment for me though.

I loved Hemlock so much that I may have to buy the paperback version. (I bought and read the ebook)

This book really did not meet my expectations! I was expecting a thriller, but it was really just a romance with some “thriller”-type moments thrown in for seasoning. I found the plot uninteresting and the characters bland. I like romance novels well enough, but this book was not for me.

This was such a great listen! The way it’s written with dual timelines slowly gives us information but not enough to figure it out!!! I was instantly drawn in, and wanted to know what was going to happen! Highly recommend!!!!!
