Un extraño en casa es sin duda un libro adictivo que he devorado en poco más de 24h. Está autora tiene la capacidad de enganchar y, aunque en La pareja de al lado no logró sorprenderme, en este libro si lo ha conseguido. Una trama en principio sencilla y dónde rápidamente supones culpables se va complicando llegando a ser muy enrevesada que juega con el lector y el final sorprende. Espero leer más de esta autora en el futuro porque parece que con cada libro mejora en su escritura y en la forma de engañar y jugar con el lector.

‘A stranger in the house’ - To start with it was just an average, slow burning book but really came to life in the last couple of chapters. Came with an astonishing twist which made the time spent reading the book more than worth while!

My first Shari Lapena book and it won’t be my last. A quick and easy read but I could not put it down.

The third book I've read by this author and while there are certainly always lots of twists and complicated relationships in her books they're starting to feel a tad formulaic for me. This was definitely one of the weaker ones in my opinion. She does know how to write a good thriller though!

Meh. So far An Unwanted Guest is the only Shari Lapena book that I have enjoyed.

The characters in this book are so unlikeable that I just didn't care what happened to any of them.
