It was okay.
I was expecting there were going to be some crazy twists and that didn't happen.
I waiting for the payoff and I felt myself thinking, that's it?!
It was pretty underwhelming.

What I Didn’t Like:
-Women have no goals or stakes. Give the characters STAKES, please. I mean, other than to catch this amazing man for themselves. There are two major characters in this book who are women and both of them want nothing in life except to catch the eye of this one guy. I hate that.
-Tom. Nope, don’t like him. He’s out of touch, self centered, and annoying. Really killed it for me, especially when we’re supposed to think he’s the most important thing to TWO women. Yuck.
-Tell instead of show. Lots of the same type of sentence giving factual statements makes this feel like a short, clipped retelling of a story.
-The ending (which I’m coming back to in a second) makes me have more questions about some of the earlier plot points that suddenly don’t make sense. But I’m not rereading.
What I Did Like:
-The ending. The last three chapters were actually well written. They were suddenly the book I was looking for when I picked this one up. GREAT ending.
-Detectives. Alright, ignoring the gunshot residue never getting addressed … the detectives aren’t badly written. They’re not “I have a gut feeling and I will pursue that at all costs and make the evidence fit” detectives, which you see in this type of thriller sometimes. They follow the evidence even when we know they have opinions.
-Twists and turns. I do like when a book twists in surprising ways, I like to be caught off guard. This one will give you that.
Who Should Read This One:
-If you like those Lifetime movies that are high tension dramas, you might like this book more than I did.
My Rating: 2 Stars. No characters I could latch onto plus missing stakes made this one problematic.

FINALLY IM READING AGAINNNN.
I'm really thrilled bc last months were not the best of the times and I found this audible just in my right rhythm.
This book is about a woman who has a car accident, she survived but she doesn't remember anything. Karen has a lot of things to cover up and this accident is not the most accurate act on her life.
She's married with Tom since three years and they were happy til this happen and they feel like they doesn't know really well between them.
I finished this story in a day, hours if I'm more precise and I enjoyed it, I just have to confess I has some suspicious about one character (and i was right) but at the end even when I had this piece I was well surprised.
No one is totally good enough.

Oh.my.gosh. This isn’t a thriller it’s a soap opera, written in Dick and Jane style. All of the characters are annoying AF, and the “twist” at the end was lame, like I wouldn’t even call it a twist. As for the other surprise at the end, honestly if that could have happened sooner it would have made it more interesting.
It was decent enough but pretty predictable as far as thrillers go... I wasn’t super impressed but it gets 3 stars for effort
